William Robert Beasley

William Robert Beasley, 78, of 261 North Street, Bristol, died Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center. He was a native of Maury County, son of the late Willie Elmer and Alline Tindell Beasley. William formerly worked for the Durango Boot Company and was a member of the Church of Christ. He served in the U. S. Army during peacetime in the 1950s. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Danny Ray Beasley and a great granddaughter, Jade Beasley. Survivors include: a son and daughter-in-law, Donnie W. and Carla Beasley of Spring Hill; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Debbie J. and Bobby W. Cates of Columbia, Darlene Parks of Spring Hill and Diane and Terry Hodge of Columbia; a sister and brother-in-law, Pauline and Douglas Robertson of Spring Hill; nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. A committal service will be conducted on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at the Mountain Home National Cemetery under the direction of a VA Chaplain.
