Wilma P. Hackler, 90, of 2207 Wyndale Road, Johnson City, died Monday, January 29, 2007 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Grayson County, Virginia and had lived in Johnson City since 1958, and was a daughter of Robert Conley and Bertha Wright Catron. Wilma was a member of the Eden United Methodist Church and was sincere and left a good witness in her life. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, W. Clay Hackler. Survivors include: her two daughters, Beverly Sowell of Johnson City and Sylvia Cagle of Canton, Georgia, four grandchildren, Valerie Scharf, Michael Sowell, Monica Cain and Lauren Crockett; four great grandchildren, Zachary and Hannah Scharf, Skylar Sowell and Mackenzie Cain and a niece. A funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. in the North Chapel under the direction of Pastor Hester. Music will be provided on organ by Jane Rambo and soloist, Gary Carmichael. A committal service will be conducted by her son-in-law Mack Cagle in the Comers Rock Cemetery, Grayson County, VA at 4:00 P.M. Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home of Independence, VA will be assisting (276) 773-2521. Pall bearers will be family members. Memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 418 N.
