Wilma Tucker
March 18, 1949 — January 30, 2023
Artis Wilma Tucker, 73, of Johnson City, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023, at the Johnson City Medical Center.
She was a lifelong resident of Washington County. Wilma spent her life as a homemaker, taking joy from caring for her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: four sisters, Sue Collins, Frances Avery, Glenna Roberts, and Rita Byrd; and a brother, Avery Tucker.
Left to cherish her memory are: sons, David Frye, Sr. and Brian Collins; brother, Zane Tucker; grandchildren, David Frye Jr., Bryon Collins, Elizabeth Collins, Benjamin Collins, and Tosha Arp; great-grandchildren, Mason Frye and Madison Frye; as well as several more nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family of Wilma Tucker will receive friends from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Jonesborough.
